The record you mention is in the transom more than likely that the name plate of the trunk, which is why a virgin odd. The plate is scanned in the engine somewhere, find the transom below the mounting plate or the angle / shear zone. I have twin Yamaha and here it is on other brands of outboard engines that I had.
could be a small silver plaque will have somewhere around the block. for parts, etc., is not necessary because parts of the Force are listed by year, are no serial #. if it is to do some kind of record only slightly, with 7 digits.
